Air Travel Apps on Android in Spain: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps on the Android platform in Spain showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Ryanair saw a stable download trend throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 13.4K in mid-July. Its weekly active users started at around 111K, with a noticeable decline towards the end of September, closing at just below 100K.

Vueling - Cheap Flights experienced a decline in downloads from a high of 12.8K in mid-July to around 7.2K by the end of September. However, its active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 45K and 55K throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker showed a significant increase in downloads early in the quarter, reaching a peak of nearly 13.9K in early August, before tapering off to about 5.3K by the end of September. Weekly active users increased to over 50K in early August but declined to around 37.5K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained consistent, averaging around $1.3K per week.

Iberia downloads showed a downward trend, starting from about 7.4K in mid-July and decreasing to approximately 5.2K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 23K, with a slight dip in mid-September.

Aena. Spanish Airports. experienced fluctuations in downloads, peaking at 4.7K in mid-September. Weekly active users increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching a high of 9.3K in late September.
